American General’s LIFE division has announced they will be releasing an updated Appointment Application effective Monday November 15^th, 2021.  

We’ve coordinated with our Partners at American General to ensure the updates are released seamlessly in SureLC.. 

There are a few changes to the form that will affect your American General (LIFE) schedule settings within your SureLC account.  The form will now include 3 primary divisions on the Recruiter page:

• Life Brokerage
• Transactional Markets Group (TMG)
• Partners Group

Each section of the contract application maps respectively from your SureLC schedule settings.

PLEASE NOTE: Only those sections that pertain to your agency’s agreement need to be completed:

Any Life Brokerage settings or Partners Group settings that existed prior to the update will remain intact.  Only the TMG (Transactional Market Group) section is new for the GIWL product.

For those marketing both standard Life products along with GIWL, you’ll now be able to setup separate hierarchies and compensation levels all within the same transaction.  You should no longer need to complete a separate contract request for these two business channels.

As an added enhancement, you’ll now be able to preset the Contract Level (Agent/Producer, Recruiter, GA…..etc) for these two channels within your schedule settings as well (See screenshot below).

Today this a manual selection from the carrier questions step of each request.  We’ll be moving this to the compensation schedule settings so it can be preset along with all other compensation settings.

All changes to the forms and schedule settings will take effect this Monday November 15^th, 2021.
