Delaware Life Ins Co has updated their Independent contracting forms effective Dec 2nd, 2025.

An exciting part of this change is a simplified package that has a uniform application and agreement across all levels and products (Limited & National).

To accommodate the form changes we've made some adjustments to the Delaware Life carriers in SureLC.

• Delaware Life (National FIA Suite) was re-named to "Delaware Life (IMO)".

• A new carrier labeled as "Delaware Life (Bank & Broker Dealer) has been created to accommodate Institutional business.

• "Delaware Life Ins Co" has been RETIRED.

HOW DOES THIS CHANGE AFFECT YOUR AGENCY:

Independent Requests:

• Begin using the carrier listed as Delaware Life (IMO) for all Independent requests for both product suites the carrier offers (Limited & National).
  • Limited Products Include: Pinnacle Plus MYGA, Target Growth 10, TruePath 10, Retirement Stages Select 5, 7, and PrimeStart Bonus 10.
  • National Products Include: Momentum Growth FIA, Momentum Growth Plus FIA and DualTrack Income FIA.

• We've left the old carrier "Delaware Life Ins Co" open so you'll have access to the schedule settings to copy over to the new carrier Delaware Life (IMO).  We'll be retiring the old carrier effective Friday December 5th.

• If your agency was using the carrier listed as "Delaware Life (National FIA Suite)" there are no changes needed for Independent requests.  The naming convention was the only change.  Nothing else was affected.

• PLEASE NOTE:  Any requests that were in a pending status under the old carrier "Delaware Life Ins Co", and hadn't been submitted to the carrier prior to Dec 1st will need to be recreated under the new carrier Delaware Life (IMO).

Institutional Requests:

• Begin using the carrier listed as Delaware Life (Bank & Broker Dealer) for all Institutional requests.

• PLEASE NOTE:  Any requests that were in a pending status under the old carrier "Delaware Life Ins Co", and hadn't been submitted to the carrier prior to Dec 1st will need to be recreated under the new carrier.

FAQs:

• Question: What if my agency is not approved to sell the carrier's National Products?
• Answer:  You would still use the very same package under "Delaware Life (IMO)" for any Independent requests, and simply ignore the National Hierarchy and Compensation settings.

• Question:  Why are there no forms available under "Delaware Life Ins Co" for Pending requests created prior to the change?
• Answer:  The Independent forms listed under this carrier have been RETIRED.  The carrier is no longer accepting them.  However we've left the carrier open so you can reference and copy over your schedule settings to the new Independent carrier listed as "Delaware Life (IMO)" (carrier ID # 100466). Please send your Producer a new request under this new carrier.

• Question: My agency is approved for National products and has been using the carrier listed as "Delaware Life (National FIA Suite)".  Will I need to create NEW requests for anything that was pending prior to the change?
• Answer:  No, there's no need to request anything new.  You can simply process any existing requests as normal.  Requests initiated under "Delaware Life (National FIA Suite)" (carrier ID # 100466) were already allocated the new forms package.  The forms change only affected those agencies that were using the limited carrier "Delaware Life Ins Co" (carrier ID #100030).
