SureLC Carriers Requiring Producers to Confirm

As many of you are already aware, there are several carriers that require the producer to "confirm" their appointment request if you as the agency are initiating the contracting paperwork. Please review the attached document that provides further explanation related to this new procedure.
Please note that this is carrier initiated and not something that SuranceBay decided on its own. There have been NO problems whatsoever with the SureLC process with these carriers. The carriers' compliance department has simply mandated that this confirmation process be implemented in order to have their contracting forms as part of the automated SureLC process.
Finally, there are two recent changes:
1. The text of the email being sent out has now been changed, effective immediately. Please send yourself a Confirmation Request to review this new text ... it's designed to make it easier for your producers.
2. The producer now only has to enter their SSN/DOB rather then their username / password to login to review and confirm their request.
