MetLife Restructuring

All contracting forms affected have already been updated in SureLC and can be retrieved under any of the
MetLife carrier selections. However, as part of the restructuring process in SureLC, we'll be adjusting
many of the MetLife carrier selections effective Wednesday December 3rd, 2014 to coincide with MetLife's
restructuring outline.
Carriers that will be REMOVED from SureLC:
* MetLife Investors USA
* General American Life Ins Co
* Metlife Life And Annuity Co Of Connecticut
* New England Life Ins Co
* Metlife Investors Ins Co
Carriers that will be MOVING FORWARD are:
* Metropolitan Life Ins Co (Renamed to: "Metropolitan Life Ins Co (MLIC)")
* Metlife Ins Co Of Connecticut (Renamed to: "MetLife Ins Co USA (MICUSA)")
* First Metlife Investors Ins Co (Renamed to: "First Metlife Investors Ins Co New York")

How does this affect my agency?.....
If you are currently setup with any of the carrier selections that will be REMOVED, you'll want to add
the correlating carrier that's MOVING FORWARD to your assortment now so you can easily recreate your
hierarchy and compensation schedules under the carriers that will be remaining in SureLC.
If your agency is already setup with carriers from the MOVING FORWARD list, there is nothing you need to do.
The name changes will transition seamlessly along with your schedule settings.
Please note: Part of this transition will include moving the Disability contracting forms to "Metropolitan
Life Ins Co". If your agency processes Disability contracts, you'll want to ensure this carrier is added
to your assortment. These forms will NOT be available under any other carrier selection.
All other product lines can be retrieved from any of the MOVING FORWARD carriers.
Here's a quick breakdown ......
* If you process DISABILITY Contracts - ensure "Metropolitan Life Ins Co" is setup in your assortment.
* If you process LIFE, ANNUITY, LTC, VARIABLE or GROUP Contracts - ensure "Metlife Ins Co Of Connecticut"
is setup in your assortment, and the name will transition to "MetLife Ins Co USA (MICUSA)" after
December 3rd.
* First Metlife Investors Ins Co - This carrier will remain for New York only requests.
