Tips.
1. Adobe Reader. It's everywhere! Adobe Reader is the main component of SureLCTM that enables you to view and edit carrier forms. Do you find that you frequently get Adobe Reader error messages when completing contracting? More than likely, this is an issue with your Adobe Reader configuration.
- The most common error deals with Adobe's Protected Mode. Click HERE for instructions on how to adjust your configuration and clear the error.
- Hint: Make this adjustment on every PC in your office that accesses
SureLCTM.
- Additionally, there are a few other Adobe Reader errors that will pop up from time to time. To view the instructions on how to get rid of those errors, click HERE.
2. Passwords. They're everywhere! You need them to access you bank account, e-mail, Netflix and yes...SureLCTM. And while agency workers do a pretty good job keeping up with their SureLCTM password, the same can't be said for producers.
- We've made it real easy for producers to reset their SureLCTM password. Click HERE for those instructions so you can see what the producer sees so you can guide them as needed.
- Hint: While we provide this information, SuranceBay does not provide direct
support to producers. Producers should contact your agency with any questions they have.
3. Affiliations. Not everywhere, but prevalent enough to warrant a spot in this weeks Top Tips! Affiliations can be created for a number of reasons such as:
- Assigning or sorting producers by territory.
- Quick reference to Agency or Broker Dealer affiliation.
- Hint: You can limit carrier
availability based on a producers Affiliation. Simply go to your Carriers Tab, click on a carrier, then click on Set Affiliation. Don't want producers with a certain Affiliation to be able to request appointments for that carrier? Take the check mark OUT of the box next to that Affiliation and click OK.
