Hi ,
SuranceBay was advised that this morning between 9:29 and 10:30 a.m. some of you received a Phishing email message which appeared to be from "Joanne Drohan" with the title "I've shared 2016TaxReturn with you".

Be advised that SuranceBay DID NOT send you this email.  We are investigating this matter and will communicate with you further if needed.  There is no need to call us.  Rest assured that this attack does not affect any of your personal information with SuranceBay.

Phishing is a fraudulent process used by spammers to acquire sensitive information from users such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details.  Email recipients are often deceived by phishing attempts since messages appear to be sent by legitimate and trustworthy sources.
What you should do now
  • If you received that message do not open it - delete it.
  • If you have opened it, do not click on the link.
  • If you opened the false Google link, do not enter your credentials.
  • If you have entered your credentials (ID and password), then you should change your password IMMEDIATELY.
If you have entered your credentials, it is possible that your Google account was compromised.  We would recommend you review information relevant to Phishing. Here are some useful sites:
