Hi ,
1. No active license showing on your producers Licenses Tab?
  • When a producer renews, re-activates or is issued a new insurance license, it typically takes 3 to 5 business days for the state DOI to update NIPR. Once the update is done at NIPR, that new information will show in the producers SureLCTM profile.
    • Hint: If there is business pending, you don't have to wait for SureLCTM to update from NIPR. If you can get a digital copy of the license, you can manually add it to the producers profile and continue with contracting as normal. For instructions, click HERE
2. A quick note about SureLC passwords.
  • Everyone who uses SureLCTM , producers, agency workers, even the SuranceBay Support Team, is REQUIRED to change their SureLC password every 90 days. You will be prompted to change the password starting 10 days before the 90-day cutoff.
    • Hint: It's all about security folks. You have to remember, you as an agency worker have access to a plethora of people's personal private information. Imagine the access to SSN's alone should someone with less than noble intentions hack your SureLCTM log in?
  • Click HERE for instructions on how to reset/change your SureLC password.
3. There once was a man from Manhasset, whose SureLCTM profile didn't contain a Signature Authorization form.
  • This form is required to be included on the producers Scan Tab in order to complete contracting through SureLC.
  • The form houses the producer’s electronic signature that is applied to the carrier paperwork when needed.
    • Hint: If the producer needs a copy, he/she can go to their Scan Tab, click on the Forms button, choose Signature Authorization and print it out. Once printed, signed and scanned back in to their PC, they can upload directly to the Scan Tab.
  • But why go through all of that when they can create their digital signature directly in SureLC. It's called Signature Capture and it's very simple to use. Click HERE for instructions.
    • Keep in Mind: While we provide this information, SuranceBay does not provide direct support to producers. Producers should contact your agency with any questions they have.
