Solutions" within SureLC, please read the following important notice. Otherwise, disregard this message.
Through our interaction with this carrier, they've requested that we implement the requirements detailed below. SuranceBay implemented these requirements in order to support you, our agency clients, along with your producers plus UHC in order to ensure that submitted contracting paperwork is "in-good-order". Absent implementing these
requirements, your agency and producers would otherwise need to rectify these problems on the back-end, which we all know takes significantly longer to "fix" then it is to "prevent".
- Backdating paperwork - now, you may only backdate paperwork up to 30 days from the date you process the contract. UHC-Medicare Solutions will not accept contracting paperwork dated more than 30 days in the past.
- E&O Requirements -
UHC-Medicare Solutions requires the producer to have active E&O insurance, with a minimum of $1mm per occurrence and $1mm annual aggregate. The expiration date must be in the future. Producers and/or Admins will be required to update E&O details according to these rules prior to being able to process requests through SureLC.
- Resident State Required - For "Contracts" and "Transfer" requests through SureLC, you'll notice that the producer's
resident state is automatically selected. UHC-Medicare Solutions requires the producer to be appointed in their resident state always.
