Athene is starting the New Year off on a high note. They
continue to make enhancements to their contracting forms to simplify the process, and have consolidated their packages to include both companies on the same forms:
- Athene Annuity and Life Company
- Athene Annuity & Life Assurance Company of New York
We'll be pushing the newly updated forms onto SureLC effective Tuesday 1/17/2017. The changes will include making some adjustments to the schedule settings. A copy of the
NEW Transmittal is attached for reference.
**Please ensure you save a copy of your current schedule settings to apply to the new ones effective 1/17/2017**
In addition to the new forms, we'll be making some minor adjustments to the Athene carriers as follows:
- Athene Life Insurance Company of New York (Formerly known as Aviva) - This carrier will be RETIRED in
SureLC. This NY channel of Athene is no longer accepting contract applications. All NY business is now contracted under "Athene Annuity & Life Assurance Company of New York"
- Athene Annuity and Life Company (Formerly known as Aviva) - The name will change in SureLC effective 1/17/2017 to simply "Athene Annuity and Life Company".
Just a few additional highlights to the form changes:
- Athene
will now offer contracting Business Entities.
- Athene's new application now covers all entity types: Individuals, Business Entities and Registered Reps. One application for all!
