American General Life Ins Co (AIG) is enhancing their contracting
processing systems internally. As part of the enhancement, we'll be making a minor adjustment to the hierarchy schedule settings in SureLC.
Effective Friday evening 11/10/2017 the "DIRECT UPLINE" hierarchy will be a required entry before processing any contract requests with this carrier,
Within step 4 of the contracting process, you'll see a "MISSING INFO" alert, indicating the DIRECT UPLINE name
& code are required before proceeding. (See screenshot attached).
Please note: The Tax ID for the DIRECT UPLINE should be entered in the code field, if the DIRECT UPLINE contract is still pending.
The "MISSING INFO" alert will only be activated when processing a contract request, it's NOT a requirement in your Master Schedule settings. This was
by design since not all contracts will have the same DIRECT UPLINE. However if your agency does apply DIRECT UPLINE data in your Master Schedule settings, that information will map over to the contract requests and eliminate the alert all together.
