American General / AGLA - Forms Updated

American General Life Ins Co has recently updated their forms package and they are now updated in SureLC. 

Any agencies that were already using the “American General Life Ins Co” carrier will now have access to the new forms.  There are no changes, and its business as usual.

“American General Legacy – AGLA” carrier will be RETIRED effective 1/12/2018
Any agencies that hold a contract under the “Partners Group” division (Also known as AGLA in SureLC) will need to start using this new forms package as well.  This will require a carrier change in your SureLC account.

AIG has indicated they’ll accept the old AGLA forms until mid January.  But it would be in your agency’s best interest to change your carrier setting now to “American General Life Ins Co” and start using the new forms package immediately.

To add a new carrier:
  • Select the Agency L&C Setup Page
  • Select the Carrier Tab
  • Select the “AVAILABLE” button
  • Search and select “American General Life Ins Co”
That’s it!  Your agency will now have access to the new forms.


Schedule changes have been added under "American General Life Ins Co" to accommodate the "Partners Group" channel.

Effective 1/12/2018 the carrier labeled as “American General Legacy – AGLA” will be RETIRED in SureLC.  Please begin using the carrier listed as “American General Life Ins Co” immediately in preparation for the change.
