Aetna - Hierarchy Setting Changes

Hi ,

We've been working closely with Aetna to more clearly define the hierarchy settings.

The current settings included an indicator where the Top Managing General Agent (MGA) should be placed, but there wasn't any direction where to place the Immediate Upline above the Producer.

Changes have now been implemented to adjust the label in the last row of the hierarchy to more clearly indicate the Immediate Upline.

This Immediate Upline hierarchy is the most important role....It's the hierarchy designated directly above the Producer you're contracting. Aetna is able to determine the rest of the hierarchy simply based on the name & writing code assigned to the Immediate Upline.

Additional elements were added to make the Immediate Upline name & writing code REQUIRED during the contract workflow so this important piece isn't missed in the process.

Aetna Health Ins Co (AHIC)
Aetna Health And Life Insurance Co (AHLIC)
Aetna Life Ins Co (ALIC)
American Continental Ins Co (ACI)
Continental Life Ins Co Of Brentwood Tennessee (CLI)
Accendo Ins Co (ACC)

PLEASE NOTE: Your current schedule settings were not affected with the changes that were implemented. The label alone was the only change applied.
